GOOGLE REVIEW
Thank you very much Sam and Helen for the friendly informative advice you have provided to Eastern Counties Scaffolding Services. Your input regarding the implementation of our training programme has been very helpful.
Our Training Group is an independent association that historically been funded by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), who announced in November 2025 that they were withdrawing funding for all Training Groups after 31st March 2026. For more information about CITB’s decision, please read the CITB’s Training Groups Funding Decision FAQs.
This has meant that we have needed to make our own decision to potentially close this training group later this year and our current members will be updated accordingly.
In the meantime, whilst we remain open, our focus will need to be to continue to support our current members who are local construction companies, to access high quality, and cost-effective training with 3rd party training providers. Unfortunately, this does mean we are not able to welcome new members or help with public enquiries.
If you are a member of the public or a non-member organisation looking for a training course, please note that we do not run training courses ourselves and you will need to independently research training providers in your area.
However, please note our following webpages have some useful signposting information and links that you may find useful.

NCTG have been invaluable over the past few years, always sourcing up to date training, keeping in touch and helping out whenever they can. They provide excellent support to our company.
Since joining NCTG we have had the benefit of reduced cost training and no longer have to spend hours looking for a qualified training provider. We have had assistance with our training plan and the completion of the many Construction Skills grant forms. Sam always responds promptly and is really helpful with any questions we may have.
We have found being part of the NCTG a true benefit. The service provided is similar to an internal group training department but without the associated overhead, an all-round great service that directly assists day to day operations.
We are very pleased with the quality of service provided. We sincerely appreciate the responsiveness to mitigating the trouble of organising training courses for our company and the way NCTG conducts itself. We have recommended NCTG to others because of our satisfaction with the service and look forward to doing business for years to come.
As a company we value being a member of NCTG. Both Sam and Rachael take the leg work out of organising the training our company needs, freeing up precious time. No question is ever unanswered or too much trouble. The membership fee is exceptional value compared to the benefits we get year in and year out.
