IPAF Mobile Elevated Working Platform (MEWP) Operator Training – One day course for 2 categories of MEWP.
This course provides instruction on how to prepare and safely operate various types of MEWPs, also referred to as cherry pickers, aerial lifts or scissor lifts. There are a range of categories offered and the main ones usually requested by our members are Mobile Vertical (3a), Mobile Boom (3b) and Static Boom (1b).
IPAF MEWP for Managers – One day course
This course is aimed at those who plan, supervise or manage work at height with Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs).
IPAF Harness Courses – 3 levels available to meet the needs of different candidates
Awareness and understanding of how to correctly use a harness is critical to safe operation of boom-type MEWPs. IPAF offers three harness courses to meet the needs of different candidates;
- Harness Awareness Course (HA)
- Harness User Course (HU) – must complete the HA course first
- Harness Inspector Course (HI) – must complete the HA & HU courses first

This training course provides information on the basics of height safety, understanding what access equipment is available and how to comply with your duties under the Work at Height Regulations.

For workers who use Ladders and Stepladders for their role to learn how to use, store and handle them safely.
Ladder Association – Ladders & Stepladders Inspection
Employers need to ensure ladders are in a safe condition before use, and that regular inspections are carried out by a competent person. This course is designed for any person whose duty it is to inspect and maintain ladders at work.
