South Norfolk and Broadland Health and Wellbeing Partnerships are working to strengthen support for construction workers — particularly around mental health.
The statistics around mental health and suicide amongst construction workers are concerning. Men working in construction are at the highest risk of suicide at 3.7 times the national average, 91% of workers state they have felt overwhelmed and a further 48% have taken time off work due to stress.

They want to hear directly from those working in construction to ensure the support they develop truly reflects what’s needed on the ground. They’ve just launched a short, anonymous online survey to gather the views of construction workers. It only takes a few minutes to complete and will help shape meaningful change for construction workers across our communities.
They would really appreciate it if you could share the survey link with any contacts you have in the construction industry.
