Grants

Information about the CITB Grant Scheme, who can apply for a grant, what grants are available and receiving a grant payment.

Skills and Funding

CITB provide funding for specific training projects through their Skills and Training Fund.  If you are a CITB-registered employer you can apply for the Skills and training fund twice in 12 months but can only have one live application at a time.

CITB Funding for Leadership and Management Modules and Full Qualification.

The CITB have identified that there is a need for leadership and management skills training in the construction sector based on industry feedback and research &  have provided 10.5m in funding to support the delivery of this ILM qualification.

 

Employer Networks

Employer Networks are an initiative set up and funded by CITB aiming to simplify the way you get the support and funding you need to access the training you want.

They have been piloted since July 2022 and through 2024, the CITB are rolling out the initiative to provide GB-wide coverage.

  1. Brickwork Masterclasses (fully funded)
    Contracted Partners: Home Builders Federation (HBF) and NHBC Building Inspectors
    This project delivers sessions that offer practical guidance on improving quality and promote awareness of good practice in brickwork.

  1. Brickwork Upskilling (grant eligible)
    Contracted Partner: The ABC Assessment Centre.
    High quality on and off-site training courses for Bricklayers, through the delivery of 16 short duration training courses offered to further education and skilled workers.  Supports the training of further education tutors to enable continuous delivery post funding.

For Individuals – Start your construction career journey today!

 Are you ready to learn some interesting stuff and get ready for work on a construction site?

The CITB with their partners have started a programme of Onsite Experience Hubs to help people  get ready to work on construction sites all over England and Wales.   It is recognised that there’s a big need for folks who are ready to work in construction, but not enough of them.

This is a special training programme by the CITB and their partners will teach you the skills, knowledge, and good behaviours you need to be ready for work on a construction site.
